Sign-Up Requirements and Steps

EUMV is open to all Mountain View residents paying a PG&E bill whether you're an owner or renter living in a home, townhouse, condo or apartment. You can sign up now if you:
  • 1 Have lived in your Mountain View home for at
     least 12 months,
  • 2 Have an email address,
  • 3 Are a PG&E customer with an online account, and
  • 4 Have PG&E electricity and gas SmartMeters™ installed.

  •  meet all four requirements, just click the EUMV Navigator button to begin.
  •  meet requirements 1 and 4, but not 2 or 3, see the instructions on the right under What to do if you...
  •  do not meet requirements 1 and 4, unfortunately you will not be able to participate in the program.
What to do if you...

Do not have an email address:
You can get a free email address from several Internet service providers.

Do not have a PG&E online account:
The EUMV Navigator sign-up page has instructions for creating a PG&E online account. Have your PG&E bill handy, as you'll need information from it to create your online account.

Homes with solar photovoltaic (PV) systems don't currently have electricity SmartMeters™ installed, due to issues with PG&E, and unfortunately cannot participate in EUMV.

When you enter the EUMV Navigator, it asks for your email address, your PG&E online account information, and your phone number. After you provide the initial information, the EUMV Navigator will access your PG&E data and then will ask you a series of questions. Based on your responses, the Navigator will create your home energy profile. You will find instructions and answers to frequently asked questions on the EUMV Navigator signup page.
